Code Reviews
Sometimes it's not a specific skill you want to work on. It might be that you did a lot of work, but can't see where you can improve upon. In that case a code review can be a very helpful tool to find practical and direct topics to work on.
How it works
- Provide me access to the repository.
- Make a clear list of points of interest. Making clear what you want to be reviewed. This could be (a combination of) coding guidelines, best practices, finding bugs, architecture, ways to DRY-up code, optimizations etc.
- When that is done, we will have a 30 minute session where you walk me through the code and the list of points.
- After the walkthrough session I will spend 60 minutes reviewing your code.
- Then we will plan another 30 minute session to discuss the feedback.
