Privacy Talks

Starting Monday the 13th of February, I'm giving away some of my time for free to talk, help, advise and brainstorm. I will keep a 30-minute slot free on every workday. For anyone who want's to chat about privacy, online security, social media impact, whatever you want.

Why?

The internet is a big magic place that keeps on growing. Safe and trustworthy use of it should be a basic human right. Unfortunately this is not always the case. A lot of responsibility lays with you, the user, while your government and companies should take on a big deal of the responsibilities. This happens far too little though, so it's time to take matters into your own hands!

Obviously I don't know the answer to everything, but I'm eager to learn new things and hope to help others who are a little less tech-savvy. Just having the conversation will help us all.

What will we talk about?

That's completely up to you! You need help with installing a password manager? Want advise on which online service to use? Or will we create a plan to help you degoogle yourself? Let's have it!

Where do we meet?

The Privacy Talks will be done through Spreed, an online self-hosted (by me) videochat. You can pick the moment you want to chat by picking a slot from my calendar. Look at the bottom of this page for the overview. I'll update the calendar after we've made an appointment.

I'll send you a link right before we start that opens up the videochat in your webbrowser. You don't have to install anything. Plug in your earplugs and let's go!

Let's do it!

The calendar below shows which slots are still available. Want to reserve one of the slots? Then contact me via email, Signal or Twitter and I'll book the slot for you.

I'm excited! See you soon?
